The FSM shows how to test the MOP.

assuming lines are not opaque with age, you will be able to see oil rising in the OMP lines to the carb.
As Trichoid sez tho - if want to know its working _correctly_ the FSM details this.
BTW pineappleracing.com sells a handy OMP rebuild kit WITH how-2 DVD for about $24. $$ well spent...

If your lazy (LIKE ME!!) you can just pull the air cleaner off, rev the engine and look at the brass tubes going into each primary venturi and watch as the oil either does or doesn't come out. If you can't tell, stick you finger over one and see if you get any oil on it. That's the grocery store parking lot test.

FSM = Fairly Simple Method

(Factory Service Manual; the procedure is to unhook your lines at the carb and put them into a small container, then run the engine for a specified period, manually adding oil to the carb during that time to provide the lubrication. If the pump delivers the specified volume for the specified time, something like 2 or 3 mls in 5 minutes as I recall, it's OK)
