How do i get it off??

The last owner like glued a gps dock right in the middle of the dash. How do i get this off? My interior is like perfect except this thing is annoying and i just want it off. Thanks to all who have suggestions.

This will likely discolor or melt the dash so research thoroughly. If nothing else try application in an inconspicuous area like under the dash.

Apply acetone-based nail-polish remover to the area. The acetone breaks down the bond.

np You could try straight acetone, but again try it where it won't be noticed first.

I'd be careful with the acetone, it will eat the vinyl covering of your dash and it might not dissolve the adhesive either. I'd use paint thinner, this will dissolve the adhesive without affecting the vinyl dash covering. Just soak a soft cotten cloth in the paint thinner (gas will also work, or kerosene, lighter fluid, white gas etc) then rub off the adhesive. Then give it a good detergent wash, let it dry and apply some lexol.

Good advise Ray, I missread as superglue not just glue.... Superglue breaks up with acetone.
