How do I get this OFF!@!

No matter how many stores I go to I cant find the right flywheel puller! Its getting really annoying. I spent a whole day tracking down a 54 mm socket with adapter and actually getting the flywheel nut off. Took me and another freind to pull it off. Is there any site or store I can buy this flywheel puller from? I need to crack open this motor and see what needs replacing. I know i need to replace all the apex seals but dont want to replace springs and corner seals if its not necessary. I also want to make sure that the housings are still good.

Even the mazdatrix demo girl did it in two hits! Come on you sissy!

A pull is a more proper method, but as you know, it can be a pain to find one and it's something you may only use once.

yeah, go to mazdatrix and watch the girl do it, it's simple, they say there is a best spot to do it, but i'm guessing that if you do it with a rubber mallet you cant relay hurt it, mine came loose in 2 hits or so.

I used a puller but it took a few days for it to pop off. I tried all th eother methods first but it would budge. I then attached the puller with lots of tension, soaked with pbblaster, heated it a bit (not too hot though), rinsed and repeated every hour for an afternoon and then left it. Came back the next day and it had popped off. BTW it had been 20+ years since the last clutch change.

I just hit the edge with a rubber mallet, moving in a circle. Be sure you leave the nut threaded on a bit, if the fly wheel falls it will break some thing.
