There should be a small petcock toward the bottom of the radiator. It's plastic and looks like a big wingnut.

They usually break off due to age. A better piece of advice is to pull the lower rad hose. About the same amount can then be drained, and it even works on radiators that lack the petcock.

Okay, is it just me, or does it seem kind of ridiculous that there isn't a drain plug on the stock rad? Even on my aftermarket 3-row rad I don't have one. Is there any reason for this, or did the Mazda engineers just think it would be funny to see a bunch of sorry suckers cleaning coolant off of their engine bay and crossmember?

3 rows didn't, 2 rows did IIRC.

Along with a hose in the radiator, you'll flush the whole system.

Oh, CLR and LimeAway work wonders to clean out the cooling system.

yeah I would just pull the lower hose, and get a flush kit at the store, becuase you can drain it all you want, but if you dont flush the system you are just shooting yourself in the foot
