If the motor has strong compression - you got a good deal; regardless.
This motor has GREAT compression by the sound. I dont have a gauge. Needless to say a good running, freshly rebuilt 13b for my SA, good deal.

The intake is ported, how much/how well, who knows. The porting was never sanded because I can still see the 'scoop' marks left by the porting bur. No opinion on the exhaust but it doesn't always need porting, Depends on the size of the intake porting whether the exhaust really needs porting. If the engine is low miles you got a good deal.

If you've had a good relationship with the seller I see no reason to doubt him now.

That is correct. I have always had a problem with listening to everyone else, besides who i "should" listen to. My wife tells me that all the time. What i dont understand is why is the exhaust sleeves taken out?

For better exhaust flow and it may be ported. Can't tell from the pic. A side by side comparison with a stock housing will answer that.

mine is running the streetport exhaust setup minus the dual presilencers. i went to a meet a while back with the crossroads guys where they were having a dyno day. decided to put mine on it just for the hell of it. it claimed 191 at the wheels but that was a 3rd gear pull. i always thought they were done in 4th. but the guy said to let him know when i got to 3rd.
