clicking #8

the Evil Engine that I put together last year was mostly ported and assembled to _Vulgar_ and Metallica's _Master of Puppets_. If you want the metal to be fast you gotta raise it on speed metal

Hey now...

The Pantera was mostly background noise while I did my thing with the Dremel. The Met was typically just the title track and "Orion" and "Damage, Inc." on repeat while I just stood there looking and planning where I was going to remove metal.

I listened to more Metallica than Pantera Most of the work is just standing there planning...

My TII sounded that way with an open downpipe. I drove it 5 miles to the muffler shop too.

Wait till you drive it. You can hear the turbo spooling DOWN with just a dp. Its pretty sweet

Dude, isn't the singer from Metallica really into cars? You should show him and tell him you listened to his music.

Dude, get in good with Metallica and then go to all their crazy parties. Hell yeah.

BTW, BADASS CAR!!!!!

For real man, lemme drive it...

Remember Mike that you don't get any boost by just revving it up. You actually have to drive it and put load on it to get boost.

Yeah I got to thinking about it, when you rev it up it doesnt have the time to spool up, it goes up and down too quick...

I did a little fine tuning last nite, I was about 8 degrees advanced too far, but I cant tell if thats totally right, the rpms go from about 800-1000 back and forth now, but Im getting closer...Anyways it appears to line up on the pointer now..

And man I drank way way too much last nite! Kid with mommy so I had a party of 1 in the garage by myself.. I did get the trans spaced down about 5/8" looks better, but needs to come down a bit more, It still sits too high in the tunnel (geeez it would be nice If I could remember what the stock looked like) , got the AF guage installed, I took Directfreak's advise and move the boost to the pillar and AF to the old clock location.

I guess its time to move onto stage 2 of the process, get a driveshaft, fuel pressure regulator (i know, I should have before), and a FREAKING exhaust on it.

BTW: Didnt do any filming last nite, It would have been shakey as hell anways.

Did you zero the timming?

What mark did you line up the pulley on when you locked the timming? The yellow/orange or red
