How overdone is the whole turbo-ing a 12A???
Looks like just the question of a turbo and a 12A, gets all this well VOODOO vibes from everyone.
WELL MY QUESTIONS ARE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE...
What kind of HP numbers did you guys get, and on how mush boost.
I would really like some insight into this (This is the route I"m going) but the shear thought of having to read through Half-Witted, Hare-Brained, Moronic replys has discouraged me from asking.
I'm working on my turbo manifold as of now, just looking for some insight...

I have seen Ray Green's engine bay many times, and not once could I find any dirt/dust/rodents on it... and he says he drives it to work and back! I cant remember if it is 50 or 100 miles. That is the cleanest NA engine bay I have ever seen, and I have seen my fair share of bays. 12aT would have to be Bad83, because I haven't seen any other ones.

What? Thanks Stu. I appreciate it. https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...roject+updates It's not like it's taboo or anything. It's just most people can't get ahold of the whole blowthrough setup. Staying carbed. Plus it's actually easier to swap in a TII setup out of a second gen. Stock port versus stockport, more power out of the second gen. If you want to do it, it can be done. It's just that most people who start trying to fab up all the neccessary parts, usually give up before they finish (usually run out of money). Just a teaser for ya. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNG6JRoqXu8

Yeah why turbo a 12A, it's already a thing of beauty:
Like Sam says, unless you have a lot of talent (like he does) you will probably run out of money and patience long before you get the thing running right.
Also, won't the turbo crash the gas mileage? I wouldn't want to sacrifice my 23-24 mpg that saves big bucks on my daily 110 mile commute.
