hood vent
well, took the spare hood to mike p's and tore into it with power tools. came away with a boxy 3rd gen style heat release vent in it. the vent starts right in front of the alternator to pickup up hot air coming through the radiator and vent it out and over the top of the car. mainly fun with power tools. let the criticism begin!

Still couldnt figure out what you were doing on that hood, but the scenery was good here that day wasnt it?

Cool! Good work guys. I eventually want to do this to my hood also but probably make a big ole vent right behind the rad, basically just like that only larger. Maybe make a few smaller ones right above/behind the turbo to get rid of that heat also.

thanks guys. would have been on here to respond BUT THE FORUM KEPT CRAPPING. anywho, most of the water runs in between the motor and the fan. the dizzy does see some water though but since i'm still waiting on my gas tank, i haven't been able to drive the car regularly to see if it will affect it. if so the stock hood will stay on except for autoxing or my fancy.
mike, you found my house now but did you enjoy the neighborhood? and yes the view was good at mike p's. ah the joy of pretty neighbors........
