Was about to put my hood back on the car, after 3 or 4 years of it being just set on, not bolted, to the car... and realized I dont have the bolts anymore. Anyone know the dimensions of the bolts so i can run to lowes or the depot and get a set?

and i know, i could probably get them from mazda... but whats the point if home depot has them

 

I know they are 10mm heads but I would say they are probably M6 with fine tread. Sorry no much help.

Take one off your fenders cause they are practically the same I think!

 

They are the same. 6mm x 1.00

 

Any idea how long the threaded portion is?

 

Probably 10 or 12mm long.

Figures, the mounting holes in the hood just about rusted over and had one bolt broken off in the whole anyway.. No metric taps to be found, so they're all 5/16" now, heh
