High Frequency Vibration

I have a high frequency vibration about 6k RPM. I have replaced the transmission mount and it didn't help much. Any ideas as to what it could be?

I dont think its the wheels, it was happening with the stockers, and same thing with freshly balanced enkeis. As far as the u joints i havent checked. Black dragon doesnt sell u joints for 84-85 specifically so would i have to go to a shop for that?

If it is the u-joints, the 84/85 u-joint can be replaced. The manual says they are not serviceable. This is because they are staked u-joints. these u-joints are common. The drive shaft shop in my town had them in stock. Cost be about $100. Now they can be greased and replaced when needed Check out this thread.

Wheel bearing, u-joint
U-joints are about $12 each on Ebay, easy to replace too
Lift the front end and wiggle the tires top and bottom and side to side see if there is any play and where.... Could also be ball joints?

I think it might be bad u joints since its dependent on RPM.

I doubt it would be u-joints. As they speed up and slow down with vehicle speed, and not engine speed.

Are they original? If so they could use replacement anyway. They're cheap for cheap ones I think.
