high 14 or low 15
what would i have to do to get my 84 gsl rx-7 in the high 14 or low 15 in the 1/4 mile.. i don't want to port my engine or have noz.. can i do it and would it cost a shitload?????????????

It all depends!
You could get a Yaw-modified carb and manifold for probably under $500, and a RB long-primary exhaust for $700. Or you could try to do it cheaper and end up spending more money in the long run...
The trick is, you're not going to get much more than 150hp from a stock port. That'll get you low 15's. Since you'd be maxed out as far as engine goes, to go quicker you'll need to yank weight out. Also, how good of a driver are you?

Depends on the port! A big street port can easily make peak power above 9000, meaning you can't have stock apex seals. I think the highest verified power output from a street port is 217 or 227hp. That's flywheel. I don't know how long that engine would last, though...

Yeah, shutup kid.
cool, for me, it all depends on what my compresion test comes out with.... if apex seals are bad, then i'll be porting my engine, if they are good, looks like my car is gonna stay stock for a while.
