I wanna see the outside... haven't seen it in forever.

How can you drive a stick and talk on the phone at the same time?

That's where big phones are an asset!

I hate the new miniphones... they are impossible to wedge up against your shoulder.

Even so, it's entirely possible to talk on the phone and drive stick! With a cordless one (like most are today... jeez do they even MAKE permanent-mount cell phones anymore?) you can hold it with your left hand and do all your steering and shifting with your right hand (use your thigh to hold the wheel when you shift) or if you must hold it in your right hand you can just do all your steering and shifting with your LEFT hand.

Used to do lunch runs all the time for work. Inevitably someone would order the 64 ounce Colon Cooler that would not fit in the little drink trays they give you, so I'd hold it with my right hand and steer and shift with my left. Tall shifters make this much easier (short shifters suck!) because they're easier to reach and they require less force to shift.

Or, if you don't want to shift with your left hand, just shift with your right and ignore the phone for a couple seconds. Or, just don't shift! With a street ported 12A (more low-end than stock) and a stock clutch I could just leave the car in 2nd all day long in city traffic. Gotta love the flexibility of a rotary!

that lesson in "how to drink while driving a stick" is scary for beginners like me.

I wonder if you can still beat hondas drinking a coffee and powershifting at the same time? You can probably stay in 2nd gear with that swap of yours!

you do not powershift when there are drinks in the car, unless you like cleaning your upholstery
