HELP! Quick

hey i have a problem. my friend hit a curb with my car. the rear end is shifted to the drivers side about 2 inches. it looks like to arms (one mounts on the frame then to the rear) and another one mounts a little further up are bent.
does anybody know what they are?
how hard are they to replace?
how much would it cost to get it done at a shop?
how much for the individual parts?

exactly how hard did this 'friend' hit the curb? and at what speed?
you obviously have suspension, and or frame damage
you will have to go to a shop to get estimates
and to know exactly what was damaged
lose the 'friend'..after said 'friend' helps pay for your damages
simply hitting a curb at low speeds shouldn't commit such damage
7's aren't that flimsy

**friend** hey i know i messed up and i am paying for anything and everything that has to be fixed. didnt hit the curb at more than 15 but prbly less. hit the rear passenger side wheel into the curb and thats what caused it. just looking at it i can tell that those rods are the only thing bent. they gave way and saved the frame. and us.

btw its a 85 gsl-se. and yes the diff is fine.

Actually it is pretty easy to bend them.

How much would it cost at a shop?... at most 3 hours of labor at a shop. labor is ~$80 here.

They're easy to replace. Go to the for sale section here and see if someone is parting out a car and ask for the parts that are bent.

17mm sockets and wrenchs and two beers should be all you need to replace them... and a jack.

If you're really working at it, just a few hours and no need to completly drop the rear. You just want the rear supported (as you need to take the wheels off) so there's not alot of tension on the rods.

I swaped a complete rear end (replacing the bars too) in a few hours in my friends parking spot with basic hand tools. Very easy to do.
