Help is Needed

OK I have fixed alot of stuff wrong with the car and it now runs idels at 2,000 tho and dies if i lower the idel speed. I can also drive the car but it dies if I let off the gas to quickly. Im guessing the hoses are too old and cracked so ill be replacing them soon. I also need to know what 4 hoses connect to the #2 anti afterburn valve. I know the whit selinoied (spelling) box connects to this and 1 hose goes the the air filter but where do the other 2 go. I have a 1983 12A, here is a pic of the valve im talking about

Need help asap, thx

Yeah and make you stink like exhaust/gas. Just because a state or county doesn't have emissions requirements doesn't mean It's legal to remove them. There's still a penalty if your caught without it. Just something to consider.

Yes we have smog test in TX but i get my tags from a friend w/o smoging my car anyhow. If I remove that **** what can i remove and how do i reroute/fix what i have taken off. Does it perform better with it off?

P.S. I replaced all the hoses i could with new red silicone (spelling) hoses. Looks pretty cool i think. Anyway that seem to help the ideling/ dieing prob. I also think my tech is reading wrong, its ideling at 2,000 but it sound normal. I have watched alot of videos off here off peeps car ideling and its sounds the same. it will go below 2,000 rpms now but dies at 1,000. how do i check the tech?

RX-7's fudging rock, on the way home i smoked a early 90's camero RS on the highway. sounded stock tho and it was an auto.....but oh well kills a kill

Do you mean the tach ? Because if thats what you want... go get a hand tach and then read the manual to hook it up. I think its pretty simple. just get the signal from the trailing coil, and 12v and a ground.

Have the timing checked though, this is what could be causing your HIGH idle....as well as the idle screw on the carb.. but dont touch that unless ya know what your doing.....
