I'd imagine it would, i honestly don't know for sure, it would need the motor mounts relocated and full drive train... but if you're going to do all that work, definately go for the turbo 2 engine and tranny, the turbo 2 trannys are tough.

If money is absolutely no problem get a 4 rotor 26B

If money is no problem fit a 20B, its being done more and more by enthusiasts.

If money is possibly no problem get a 13B REW, its lighter rotors will give slightly more power than the 13BT

The transplant is relatively easy. I predict that within 5 years the great majority of Gen1s will be so equipped as 12A parts become rarer.

If you are satisfied with less power, say 520 rwhp use a 13BT to get a 10.5 second street RX-7. Its a common transplant well detailed on the forum.

My view is that if "money is not a cost" go for the 20B, it will give you some 600rwhp in a street car which you can out drag Hondas. 13REW and 13 BT transplants are just getting common with every tuner offering a drive in drive out pakage.

sorry, that's my pet peeve... it feels like the person is yelling constantly...

I'm sure I'm not alone on this one?

As far as the engine thing goes,

I'd say go for a 13B-REW... there's tons of support as far as this goes, as it's already been done a few times by people on the forum.

13bT rew but with a single turbo conversion - easier to fit, much better power potential.
OR, if you are hard up for a challenge, turboII 13bT but run two stock (but flowed) turbos in parallel. Scour www.dysonrotary.com.au for some pics of this conversion.
Best option, a 13bT from a JC Cosmo (if you can find one) they have about the best factory porting and inlet manifolding right out of the box.

Jesus, you waited a total of 4 minutes to repost a reply to your own topic with the same question?

I will say this once, ANYTHING CAN BE DONE!!! It has been before, and it will be done again and again... To get a FD motor in there and running, think along the lines of 5-8k with you doing the labor, but if you have to ask, then you porbally dont havea clue where to start, so figure on another 3k for labor if you can find someone to do it.
