try and pm LongDuck (i haven't seen him lurking i awhile though) and see what he has to say. he's been very good with diagnosing SE related problems over the years.

im sorry let me tell you whats actually going on i dont have a tach signal to the ecu that tells the computer to fire the injectors i have proper fuel pressure have everything else diagnosed to the best of my abilities. i think the the front coil which is the trailing coil is not getting power somehow to tell the engine and the ecu that the engine is cranking so that the ecu knows to fire the injectors how do i fix this. my dad likes to get on here and write what i told him the problem is and he doesnt say everything the right way to get what needs to be said oh well he tries though

Bad trailing ignitor?

The ignitors are known to be unreliable.Even if your getting power to the trailing coil,if the ignitor isnt switching the negative signal on and off, there will be no pulse signal sent to the ECU,let along any spark from the trailing plugs.

Either source another ignitor,or if youve established that the leading plugs are firing, try swapping the leading/trailing ignitors. The engine wont run right without the leading plugs working, but at least you can confirm if the injectors work after swapping the units.

The injectors on the SE are low impedance.
If its anything like the low impedance,86-87 S4 engines, there will be a resistor pack and adjuster plugged into the engine harness......Do you have them?
