Help with 45 DCOE Jetting for My 12A Bridge Port Engine!!
Hello Guys!! Well, beside I`m Not going to use a Demon Carb in my car, I will have to rebuild my 45 DCOE Weber, but I have to make it work in my engine.
I have a 12A Bridge Port engine but bridge port is only in the secondary ports so there is a little good idle with the Nikki Carb but this one is not enough to work well with my car.
I would appreciate if there is someone that can help me with the COLOR=Red]RE - JETTING[/COLOR] of my carb, I need it to work properly with the engine; I know someone is going to said "Is a little carb for a bridge port engine", but sincerelly it will work great for the street and sometimes, only sometimes for racing.
I did not put here the jetting that it has right now because all the needles are drilled and are in bad condition, that is because I bought this carb used
Please, I need all your help and advice because I have to buy the parts in the USA and I live in Guatemala, Central America.

remove the venturies as a start. buy index/number drill so you can drill your own jets. First, start with the idle jets. usually, on a 48 IDA, I use 75 for an aggressive launch. Once that he meet your low end expectation, then work with the main jets.
BTW, to get sufficient gas, remove the carb's fuel filter and drill out the inlets. You dont want it to starve.
Just giving you ideas.

You're going to end up with large main fuel jets, well over 200.
If you really want to do it right, you'll need to put the car on a chassis dyno with wideband oxygen sensor. That's what I did with my 48 dellorto and lake cities manifold on my full j bridge. Since no one knew what jetting to use for that setup the dyno was the best, fastest, most accurate way to jet it. I dialed it in real nice after about 10 dyno runs including various changes to timing to boot.

that carb is way too small for a bridge, you need at least a 48mm weber
