Clean CArb, Dirty Kitchen

I cleaned a carb the other day That I was shipping out to a fellow forum member. It was already probably the cleanest carb I had ever used, and ran great but I figured I would clean it for the new owner.. Here is a picture of the clean carb and my filthy Kitchen. I thought I would share how clean a carb could BE!!

The greasy grime protects the plated parts so they come out like new. Most dont look that nice just by cleaning.

Yeah, we like the ones with the stalagtites and stalagmites on 'em that require a cold chisel and a hammer.

Not dawn... Actually we clean metal parts at work with a oil based degreaser(if that makes any sense) oxymoron i know, It is sensor safe (used for water heater components) and gasket safe.. I brought some home in a spray bottle (shhhh....) did A set of wheels in it and the carb.. This stuff is great.... COmes in a 50 gal drum... and you have to mix it..

thx for the compliments-

Trevor
