Try this link and download the engine parts catalog and when you find the Mazda part number call them to see if they have one or have them measure it. Good luck

ok this must not be a freezeplug then cause i tried size 28 and its too big and 25 is just a little too small.I dont have a camera so i can try to describe where this hole is.I have a hole about the size of a quarter and it has NO threads,Its perfectly circle,Its in between the cat and the oil drain plug.If you look in the hole you will see a gear type thing.I dont know if this hole has been there all along or if its new because i noticed it when a hose blew and i pulled the car up on ramps.I really need to figure this out soon so if anyone can help me it would be GREATLY appreciated!!
Thanks,
Aaron

Could this be what your looking at?
Just a thought, the cat is behind the engine.

That was kinda what I was leaning towards too. When Aaron mentioned seeing a gear of some sort. I automatically thought he was seeing the starter ring gear.
So evidently it's an inspection hole of some sort and the rubber plug finally pooped out?
