I had used them in one of my very 1st 7's and they were great. Everytime I sold the 7 that had them in it I would take them out and put them in my new one.

That's what I call a good reccomendation. When a person goes to the effort to replace the item in question before selling a car, so they can hang onto the item, they MUST have a valid reason.

The actual width pattern as to where the light was directed on the road and the clarity of the actual beam. Also on high beam they reach for a very long distance. Since I have somewhat poor night vision this really helped me. There are safety engineered for correct line of sight.

thats awesome to know! i'm really looking forward to getting this car running again and back on the road. i do like the look of the lights. i only took notice to the lights because i noticed that they were "flatter" in shape. i guess more concave more so than convex in shape. thats when i recognized the name on the light.

Had Hellas -they are OK - since bought Cibies ($10 more) -even better - much better defined beam, cleaner spread, longer throw
http://www.danielsternlighting.com/
Also great tech tips this site for relays, etc.

Just the stock H4 65wts. With 22 hours of daylight in the summer up here, I don't need much more for the few short week in the fall. Anything larger (in wattage) will require a relay!! See the daniel stern lighting link I posted here - he has a great tech article on relays, sells the parts, has diagrams, the works

I DO run 100wts in my Saab (winter car obviously) - it comes with Cibies standard
- we are talking serious Photon emissions!!

I have a set of IPF headlights on order. I have done some research and found that the cut off in the IPF's are great. http://www.arbusa.com/headlight_replacements.php
I will be running PIAA xtreme white H4's since that is what i have in my APC headlight housings already. I may buy a set of Super Plasma GT-X piaa bulbs or HID works well with the cut off in the IPF's
