Headlights, Parking Lights, Gauge Lights all stopped working today. Any ideas?

81 rx7 with haltech and TII motor

Turn signals, hazards, brake lights all work.

Tried tracing down wiring and fuses with no luck.

I've searched, my car is kinda different as I don't have fusable links on the strut tower like I've read. Are there any other fuses that I don't know about? My car is ran off a Haltech if that matters.

I'm just not sure what else to check or where a fuse could have blown?

Any ideas are appreciated.

I don't have a fuse panel cover but the below fuse won't accept a fuse without blowing.

I think that means there is a short in the defogger wiring. Track that down first.

I don't see any fuses on the strut tower. Are there any other fuses that I don't know about?

There should be a brown box with three fusible links in it on the strut tower. A picture of the wiring in that area would help. Do you just have the short smaller gauge wire from the + terminal of the battery connected to 2 White /red and a White/green wire? Could also be your combination switch. The lights that aren't working are on different fuses and circuits. Bad connection from battery negative to shock tower ground can cause strange problems. Be sure it is making good contact with bare metal at the tower ground point.

The fuse that keeps blowing goes to the rear wiper and rear defroster. I think this is a separate issue.

No hidden fuses unless PO installed aftermarket ones.

I spent 3 hours ripping every apart last night................ and it ended up being the meter fuse. I could have sworn I had checked it atleast 15 times last night.
