headlight help

can someone please snap a photo of the plug to the back of the headlight and post it? pulling my hair out trying to figure this out right now

It is three prong, and since removing everything in the engine bay the only logical plug left doesn't fit the back of the headlight. WTF is going on!

1982 RX7 btw

this is what I got and the fitment makes me question if this will work.the plug doesn't slide all the way on and it is very tight (tight like this old cheap plastic will break if you push any more)

yup directly to the three prongs on the bulb. The pic you posted is for the turn lamp in the front bumper. Check for the wires to hook to down by your front black grille panel

following that plug takes me to the turn signals on the other end.

headlight straight to turn signals, doesn't seem right to me

No the plug youre looking for for the headlights is right off the harness, might be hiding somewhere up front. They have a pretty long wire off the harness to snake up to the headlights

yup it should be. the plug to connect to the turn signal should be on there too for ya. If you can find the wiring for the headlight motors, its just down stream from that.
