Headlamp wont go down?

Headlamp wont go down?
83 model GSL pop up headlights, Searched, only found what I've already done.
Headlight switch disassembled and cleaned, got high beams back, woohoo
Headlight rewired through relay, double woohoo
fuseable links replaced with new plastic fuses, ho hum
Everything works great, way better lighting but they wont go down.
Can be manually wound down and they will come back up, on the switch.

I had a loose wire where the connection is from the body harness to the lamp.When the light is in the up position and the switch is off jiggle the connections and do alittle push and tug on the plug. good luck
