From what I've heard the Monza ones only last a year or two, whereas RB ones are high quality.

Welcome Robert,

Pacesetter, aka "monza" header was the first header I got and it SUCKED ***!!.. I had to take a die grinder to each of the exhuast stud holes to make it mount. They welded one of the hangers on upside down. The main flange was welded on at an angle so I had to cut it off and re-weld it.......... I could go on and on...

Plus the front header tube weld to the header flange cracked a week later and caused one of the most annoying exhuast leaks I have ever heard.

Don't waste your money on one, it's not worth it save a few extra and get the racing beat.. It bolted right on with no problems.

Matt

Yeah, go RB man. I saw a Monza in real life once, and it didnt look like it would fit just laying on the sidewalk. They have some prolems I think. Also, if you read the fine print on the catalog, it says that they "may need modification to fit" or some **** like that. Anyway, go with RB or Mind Train .

Headers may require an additional fitting effort to instll, such as grinding or bending. Specialty shops that deal with exhaust installation might be considered.

Thats why I went with RB. I wanted simplictiy to bolt on .

I have a full setup to sell.

road race headers, streetport centersection, dual over axle rear with a Bomz n1 cannister muffler at the rear.
less than 6000 miles on the setup, and a total cost to build of $800+

plus a carter and a holley reg to supply the much needed fuel demands after a full exhaust.

$500+ shipping

Just outta curiosity more than anything, has anyone used a Pacesetter with the "Armor Coat"? It costs about $80 more than the 'regular' black finished one, and advertises as being able to reduce underhood temps and resist corrosion...

its probably just ceramic coating... i was going to do that with my racing beat header, but they told me the extreme heat would make the ceramic flake off on the inside and clog the cat.. so needless to say, i plan on dealing with my higher under hood temps..

p.s. it was VERY easy to install, and im pretty happy with my results.. i just need to work on quieting it down (damn ractive (rice) muffler)

I plan on buying a Holley pump and regulator for my car close to next (after tires), but what kinda fuel pressure should I set my reg at for the stock Nikki? I know it will change as I mod the carb, but whats a good starting point for the stock carb for now?
