I still think lining the vents up with the bottoms of the headlamp openings would look good

I cut one big hole in the nosepanel. It's exactly the size of a 12a oil cooler. I was going to mount an oil cooler right behind the hole but then decided it was a bad idea since it is rather unprotected up there.

No pics but if you look at my avatar the hole is right where the white MAZDA sticker is, and is about 1" wider each side. With wire mesh behind it to keep stones out.

To make it flow best I removed the horn brackets and the 1" lip that is in the unibody a few inches behind the nosepanel. 4.5" angle grinder with cutoff disc went thru that lip like butter!

how would you have trouble with rain? all that does is expose more of the radiator

I like that ...did you fold the flaps down or completely cut if out?

Thanks guys for the pics,Im goig to do this...somehow..
I dont want to mess with the hood line and think this willwork beter...how about the pressure spots? You think it will be ok? I just need air inside the engine bay ..but maybe there should be an outlet?

How rice do you think if theres screen behind it?

I might fold, and use soem thin metal and rivit gun with some fiberglass.

I got my paint/body guy so happy cause thingsd are finally gettign somewhere with my car,he wants to buy back his GSL he sold recently for $400. which I got for him for 300.

Full Kaminari kit,RB intake,Holley carb,racing clutch ,LSD,
I was pissed he sold it with out telling me..but he sold it to a friend so maybe he can get it back ..
