GTech

Well,

I pitted my car against the cougar my friend has...(cams, gears, chip, etc, etc) and I did fairly well out the hole but he spotted me about six cars from 0-60 MPH.

We used a gtech and I got a 10 second 0-60 with tire spin...

Bad, something wrong with my car?

are you stock? that's stock 0-60. For a non-SE that is.

Edit: I just saw in your profile yours is an SE. That's bad. You should be making 8.5 secs 0-60, stock.

Crap,

Well the fuel filter needs to be changed (that’s next after my front brakes – it’s sitting in a box right now).

I have;

New driveshaft (Mazdatrix)
New dizzy cap & rotor (Bosch)
New wires
New plugs (NGK R)
New coils (PS20 Fireballs)

I would expect a little more pep in my step, of course the driveshaft does have a slight rubbing against the heat shield of the exhaust and I have an exhaust leak but Jesus I was expecting more.

How many miles on the engine and what's the psi on the rotors? how did you drive it when you did the 0-60? what tires do you have?

try not to break traction off the line. Feather the clutch. If you actually spinned for a second, but had enough traction to start moving thus starting the G-Tech, you will of course have that much more added to yout 0-60 time.
