Check the FAQ, it's covered in there in great detail. Do you have spark? Do you have compression? Do you have fuel? Battery FULLY charged?

Try and de-flood if you have spark and fuel. Pull the top 2 fuses on the fuse block and pull the spark plugs turn it over till you dont have a fuel mist. put everything back together and try and start her up.

Figures. It seems like every 1st gen owner on here from VA is either in NOVA (3+ hr from here) or on the coast (Virginia Beach, Hampton Roads, etc.). If the weather was nicer, I would come to help just to get away from this snow.

First check that you have spark on all plugs. Does the tach move when you crank the car? If not, your trailing plugs may not have spark. On the SE, the signal for the injectors come off trailing, so no trailing also equals no fuel.

See if your plugs are wet from fuel. It might just be flooded.

Check those things 1st and we will go from there.

removed the spark plugs yesterday, there not wet, just a lil black replaced it with some that are better (not new ones). the tach does move when i try to turn it on, checked the spark plug wires and the distributor cap didnt see any crackes or anything that didnt look right.
next i plan to check to make sure its getting fuel, not to sure how to do this though

tried to push start it just for the hell of it and nothing happened, pulled out on of the spark plugs and it sounds like it has good compression, was gonna check for spark but it started raining a little so i had to put a hold on that

Was the plug wet when you pulled it after trying to push-start? If it was dry and you didn't smell gasoline, then you probably aren't getting any fuel.
