GSL-SE Running Lean
my SE swapped car is running lean i don't have the variable resister on it and i don't know what i can adjust to make it run richer? my spark plugs are dry fouled. i have a new set in but don't want to start it till i get that part fixed. i've searched but seem to haven't found anything.

they are dry and black though i pulled them out right when i shut off the car. but oh well here is whats going on after i got all those cooling issues. it would not idle then got all the cooling issues taken care of and now it still wont idle i tried to readjust the timing. no dice then i did the tps still nothing i just wont keep an idle. btw i was running the highway plugs in it. but now i have the hot city plugs if that makes a difference. i know those wont keep carbon on them as much. and at low rpm's its like its getting either too much air not enough fuel or spark. it sounds funny at low rpm's like it not getting everything it needs. or like if one rotor is shut off or something but when i give it gas its fine its just a cruising speeds in any gear that the engine is not at over 4000 rpm's and i cant figure it out for the life of me. thanks though let me go get those pics really quick.

Was the car running fine before the cooling issue?
Recheck all of the work that you just did if so.
Check the connection at the coolant temp sensor to make sure it is not loose.
Make sure the air inlet ducting to the throttle body is tight at the t/body and check the clamp where the 2 pieces of the ducting join to make sure they have not separated.
Also recheck the compression.

yeah everything was fine before. i did change all the vacuum hoses to silicone though but that shouldn't mess that up though now i have no vacuum leaks. so it should be better than before.
here are my plugs
trailing left leading right.

Although it has nothing to do with your problem, I would not run the 2nd gen plugs in the trailing side. Waste of money and they don't fire as well with a stock FB coil.
They don't seem too bad in color. don't think the plugs are the problem.
Recheck your vacuum hoses for proper routing and for leaks.
Did you replace the hoses that go to the solenoids on the passenger side firewall?
