GSL-SE not Sparking

I've had this problem. I can't seem to get a spark. I replaced the igniters and the rest of the distributor seems to be sound. I also checked the fusible links, as per some advice on this forum. They also seem to be fine. The battery was just replaced as well... all the wires seem to be sound... I don't know what else to mention. New wires, new plugs.... no spark.

Any advice is appreciated.

yep, take a volt meter to the coil terminals to be sure

also make sure the coils are firing, i wont say how..since my way is probably quite dangerous.

Have you checked the fuses under the dash? You can check the coils with an ohm meter to see if they are in spec. One of my favorite tricks is to forget to intall the rotor in the dizzy, don't ask, but I have wiped out more than one battery with this simple error. RX7doc and GSLSEAddict are both well versed on the SEs.

The FSM also has a step by step trouble shooting guide for no start issues.

My Haynes manual recommends running the engine to normal operating temperature before testing the coils. Obviously I can't start the car, so should I use some other means of warming the coils before testing, or do I just turn the key on and test?

I had checked the power to the coils before, and registered nothing, which is why I replaced the igniters, thinking that might have an effect.

Now it still seems as though I have no power to the coils. Also, I am reading 0 resistance in both coils. Should I replace them?

My only other option, it seems, is to painstakingly follow the wiring all over the place.
