GS 82 drive shaft on 84 LSD?

HI guys is it possibel to chage out the rear flange on my 82 driveshaft with this?

https://www.mazdatrix.com/product/dr...-flange-83-85/

I know the newer driveshaft is non serviceable (smooth one mazda... wtf) and id like to retain the ability to work on it. Also are the driveshaft ends on the 82 gs tranny and 84 gsl se tranny the same?

The 1984/1985 driveshaft is serviceable. I have posted in a few threads about what is required. Go down to post 11. The rockford auto part number is 430-10A. A good driveshaft place can do it for $100-$120. Once the staked ujoints are replaced, they become serviceable and you can now grease them.
