Got it out of a field.

I have an '83 GLS Rex that I pulled out of a field. I put a new carb and carb kit with new intake. I put Pace Setter racing exhaust and a header. For christmas I got a set of 4 cross drill and slotted rotors. I just put in a new pair of APC racing seats and switched my carpet and all my panels from that red color to black. I have racing pedals and a shift **** with a nice Grant steering wheel. So far I bought the car for $275 and have put over 4 grand into it. I am getting ready to put in a 12" 1000 watt sub and a 500x2 amp with 600watt tweeters, new headunit, and new infinity speakers all around. Does anybody know about where I can get a nice shortshifter, a spoiler, and a nice bodykit for decently cheap?

Cool,

What have you done to the engine? Suspension? Clutch? Ignition? Fuel system to feed that carb kit? What kind of carb kit is it?

All I have done to the engine so far is a general tune up like plugs and cap and rotor, air filter and easy stuff to the engine besides for the carb kit. The guy who did it took over a month about it works great. I have a pace setter header and exhaust. When I rebuild the engine I am going to upgrade the clutch, flywheel and throw out bearing. This summer I am putting polyurethane bushings all the way aroundl.

Don't add body kit, just get a good paint job.

So take the $ you wanna put into that stereo and put it elsewhere. Your not going to want to listen to tunes when you can hear the sound of your wankel scream. Thats my opinion

Better yet the money? I have to admit my dad helped me out on getting the car running but no one has four grand laying around, I'm making $6.00 an hour right now at the local car wash as a supervisor and I still can't afford to do one thing to my car, Christmas...grr I hate it.

Like I said I got the car out of a field and most of the money has been in the interior and trying to get it to run.
