Got my 2nd gen brake upgrade brackets...

Just recieved the kits for my 7's and everything seems to have good quality to it. Now to hit the 'yard to get the other parts to complete this.

Who did you order the kit from, and what additional pieces are needed to complete the upgrade? Thanks.

Respeed,

What you need. Everything from a FC, these just facilitate the mounting of the FC components. I'm woundering should I just skip the 'yard and go ahead and buy a Big Brake kit for a FC.

The stock FC components should be more than enough for the wieght of our cars.

I'd have to say go with a big brake kit it'll look good and you can never have to much stopping power. Especialy since you got a v8 under the hood up front quite a bit heaveier and more powerful then a standard 12a.

There was a group buy on "kits" about two months ago. https://www.rx7club.com/group-buy-center-69/first-generation-big-brake-kit-respeed-461164/ <-- the thread for it. I believe that this will only work with the '84-'85 struts etc.

Clubber the one's I sent you were from an '85, not sure if I ever told you the year.
