Seriously, I have a friend with a 99 Eclipse with an Xbox in it, and his is installed in the hatch and just sits in a simple frame to keep it from sliding around. Not the nicest install, but a HELL of a lot better than this job. Granted, you have to get out to change discs, but with it there, its out of site, easy to remove and take back inside, and the wireless controllers he has work perfect. The screen is a fold out of the dash type unit, so its nice and clean.
Although, I do remember not too long ago I wanted to take a PS2 apart and "hide" the components throughout the car, so the controller plugs were below the stereo as was the disc drive, but the rest would be somewhere else, and the screens in the visors. Good thing I never tried, I might have made something like this

so it has an xbox, w/o screens...
and an upgraded alternator to feed the xbox with all that mad current yo (an xbox takes 100W of electrical power, which is about 8 amps from the alternator assuming a good 92% eff.) ohhh... it'll NEED that for sure.
at least he fubar'd an FB automatic.... i mean.. the engine is still good for donation to more deserving vehicles, and its not as rare as the sa, right?

I'll laugh harder when you're legally bound to take that POS off his hands.
So all the money he spent on the car he doesn't get a new ignitor (local salvage ~20/ Rx7 club friend maybe 10)to get it running. If the car looked great I'd be scared to buy it due to someone put (supposedly) all of the "work" into the car but can't put a new ignitor on it? WTF people
