Lets see...

Tokico Adjustable shocks and some springs... (Your preference, I'm probably going Eibach. Racing beat is also reccomended.)

Polyurethane bushings

If you wanna go further on the handling, Sway Bar upgrades and Adjustable front camber/caster plates...

Fix that exhaust...

Front poly bushings, front sway bar, tokico illuminas all around, front coilovers with caster/camber plates, and a pair of rear springs.

seeing as your in NJ forget about a better carb, unless you got a hook up for inspection stickers. Think suspension.

Ditto on the suspension. PST bushings are great. I could really tell a big difference in the travel of the steering. But, if i had a Grand to spend, go for the struts/springs/bushings/swaybar. 7"wide wheels and new tires also make a HUGE difference.

Yes, i do have a way to get an inspection sticker. I was suprised that only one person recomended exhaust system. I always thought that was the first best thing to do. Of course I could be wrong, and if I am I'm sure you will all correct me.
