Maybe your kia its a new one the one I used was like a 1995 and it was a direct swap one off one on and its 477 I used to have a 444 from racing beat the one from the kia is 477. Axels are the same if your RX7 has a the rear end of a glsse (disc brakes)

its a 95 front diffy. I dont have the stamped # on hand but as I said, the axles are larger than any of the 1st gens (I have several axles ranging from RX-2,3 and S1, S2 which are the same spline and S3).

well it was a direct swap for me I am using the same axel the old one had 40 teeth on one gear and 9 on the other one. 40 divided by 9 = 4.44 the one from the kia has 43 and 9, so 43 divided by 9= 4.77..I am not sure what year was the kia I use it from but it was from the 90s..

if you don't even know what year it was...how do you even know that the gears you bought were from a kia...they could have been from any vehicle for that matter...you could have even bought gears that someone had made...

No way its was a sportage in fact I am not the only one who has done it is a direct swap if your rear end has disc brakes, they are two types of axel in the 7 the thinner one and the bigger one if you have the bigger ones it is a direct swap believe me..

thats not necessarily true...some people have disc brakes and their car axels are different than the gls-se...take me for instance...my 81 has never had a rear end swap and came from the factory with disc brakes...but the axel it slightly different than the gls-se...I'd have to see the gears in your rear end before I believe it...
