Fusible Link Location?

I just bought a first gen and no dash lights or anything works in the car when a new battery is connected. I first thought to look for the main fuse relay, but found out fusible links are used(I may be completely wrong and if I am feel free to correct me I always enjoy learning). But I was wondering where the main fusible relay link is?? I know it’s probably called something else obviously you can see i’m new to first gens. Also if i’m completely off on my diag and you know that actual solution/problem it would much appreciated if you could correct me.

The main fusable links are located on a brown plastic block on the front of the drivers side shock tower.

thank you I literally just found it when you replied. Does it seem like i’m on the right track or should I be looking elsewhere for the problem?

Scratch that that was the problem. I flipped the main one and it worked i’ll just go buy new ones to make sure they work as they’re supposed to. Does anyone happen to know the right ones I should get? I’ll probably end up getting all 3 new ones.

Update: Found the right ones to get.

You can replace the fusable links with the buss style fuses. Search the first gen technical section and there are several threads about which ones are a direct fit.

There is also an in-line fusible link in the steering column harness (at least, in the SA model). You might see it behind the column cover, or have to pull the cover to access...

There is also one on the starter for 1984/1985. Not sure about other years. Almost all I've seen have been replaced with wire.
