Question Intermittent (harmless?) relay clicking... help?

Hey all,

Just lately my '93 FD has started occasionally making random clicking sound--from somewhere in the driver's footwell, I believe.

Sounds very much like a good-sized relay going on and off at random, but I don't see any effect at all. No lights flickering or anything else that I've noticed.

I've searched but not found anything... Anybody have any suggestions where I start looking to troubleshoot?

Thanks in advance...

Are you sure it clicks randomly? Does it click when you hit bumps while driving or does it also click just idling? Could be a loose ground maybe. There is a ground wire just under the dash in the drivers foot well. If you're looking outboard in the foot well it'll be in the upper left corner. Otherwise, touch your relays, there are several on the fuse box down there and feel if they're clicking
