yes the Rotary shape was a big selling point for the speakers,
If I don't like them, I still plan to keep the grills

Thumbs up Yippee-Ky-Yi-Yay on the Meet...

C'mon you Cowboys
Round up them Doggies,
Rope 'em, and brand 'em,then bob off their tails....

Gather you Trailhands,
Around the Chuckwagon,
Best to chow down before you're off on the trail...

Max, you 'ol Devil, you....
You gotta get that done before the Round-up.
Your hoss jest keeps on gettin' mo' betta...
Hotter than a two dollar six-shooter on a Saturday night, Buckaroo...

Little Jon's been spending time and money on his new 10th Ann. pony. Big Mouth Exhaust, downpipe, plugs, wires, etc.

Don't get much time with Silver, but I did sneak into the garage and mount a new radiator, clutch-fan, and new mo' powerful alternator. You gotta talk with me 'bout your exhaust system, Pardner....Be at the meet around 5:00 p.m.

Yahhh-Hooooo!
Denny, from the 'ol corncrib...

Nothing personal Max, but the Kicker speakers do sound pretty good, but buying a speaker just for the grill it has seems kinda stupid If you want Kicker grills, i would have gave ya some, I got quite a few laying around the shop floor...

And arent Q logic kick panels suppose to use their own grills?

Dang. That's a full load. But should be fun. I plan to work on the Mound sound a bit. I need to permanently mount them tweeters, add two screws to each front speaker, and start designing my sub boxes.

right on.

kick panels

I thought about getting some kick panels like that but I think since I have a 5spd and large feet sz13 or 14 depending on brand I figure I'll bust up the speakers since they would stick out even further in something like that.

I've always liked Kicker speaker, been using them since the mid 80's.
I was trying to decide between the Resolutions or the K-Series, I did get a spare set of grills from the shop I got them at, going to modify them to work with the Qlogic's, since the Qlogics ones are rather flimsy.
Guess I should of explained it more But I do like the grills, hehe

They were made for an early 90's Jetta (It's been 3 years, I'm pretty sure but not %100)
and I cut off some excess and they fit rather well, I use a set of baffles for now until I get time to glass the backs off them.

Hoo boy! This is the weekend for gettin' stuff done!

This weekend I get to watch an autocross with a couple friends (going down to the ASCC's event on Sunday), figure out the reason why my car allofasudden acts like the accelerator pump is dead (dies from idle when you touch the throttle.... the squirters ARE doing something... of course it can't be simple to diagnose can it?) figure out how to lessen/cure the wheelhop problem on the Grand Am (16.7 1/4mi time with 2.5 60', severe traction probs, and me in the passenger seat!) as well as the usual yardwork and housekeeping duties.

Fun fun fun!

Sounds like good times in crawling around the back of a 7. What could be better? (Maybe crawling around in the back of a 7 with two girls? Hmm, maybe next weekend)

Good luck and take lots of pictures. Later.

Looks good...where did you mount the crossovers? I just did a similar installation (I'll post pics soon) and I slid the two crossover boxes beneath the head unit and ran the wiring under the carpet.

It's now a damn mess under the head unit, but it works.

Right on.
