No need for a 90 degree fitting, the straight one works perfectly well.

Weber Rebuild Kit

I've called a few shops around town and no one can get me a Weber rebuild kit.

So I turned to the web even thou I have 0 experience buying online.

I've googled Weber Rebuild kit and Weber carbs etc. and sent emails to a few of the places that sell a rebuild kit for the Weber 40 IDF. And not one of them have sent me an email back. I sent them on Friday. I don't know if it's becuase it's the weekend / labour day, or what the deal is.

Anywho can someone provide a link to a site that they have dealt with that sells Weber rebuild kits. Specifically the 40 IDF. Or point me in the right direction.

Thanks.

Ahh...good to know.

So if Pierce does COD does that mean that I don't pay a cent untill it's at my door?

What will I be looking at for a price for shipping UPS from Cali to East coast of Canada?

Blue or Red (Holley) or Other?

I'm going the be running a Weber 40 IDF carb so the stock pump isn't enough.

Well i was at a performance shop today, and they had a Holley Blue (with regulator) on the shelf, and it was $249 Can which sounds pretty steep. They could order the Red for $199 which is still kinda pricey considering American from JEGS the Blue is $139 and the red is $104. Other shops may be cheaper.

Is the Blue over kill? and is the Red sufficient?

What other pumps are out there?

I hear you guys mention the Carter alot.

I used a red on my old 48 IDA Weber setup, and then a red also on my 51mm Injected IDA set up.

Never had any problems with the red.

Cam...

Will I still need a regulator to turn the PSI down, it says it runs 7psi which is more than I need...

At the shop they also had one of these MR Gasket Micro pumps. Says 4-7 PSI any one ever deal with one of these?

Fuel line Diameters.

While Im under neath my car swapping the tranny, and installing my new exhaust and Holley fuel pump, Im gonna replace my rust fuel lines.

What are the sized of the feed and return lines, and can I buy a roll of fuel line like I can brake line? Im talking the metal line that runs from the pump to the engine bay.

Thanks.

What type of fuel pump is this?

Can someone tell me if this is the stock fuel pump? It has a Mitsubishi symbol on it.

It came off of a car that had my Weber 40IDF on it, and it was in the engine bay.

Will it be enough to feed a Weber 40 IDF?

5/16" is the closest metric equivilent to the 12A supply, 7/16" for the 13B. 3/8" will work for the 12A, if you upsize the return also.

GSL-SE has 5/16" send and return.

You can install a 3/8" send and use the stock 5/16" as a return. I think I'll do this on my 12A chassis since my Walbro has 3/8" barbed fittings already.
