What fuel pressure are you running? Do you have a FPR?

fuel pressure regular is set at 6psi, as it has been for as long as i can remember. this wasnt a problem last time a ran it. it's been sitting for a while though.

I am not much of a carb guy, but I think this happens if:

- fuel pressure too high
- floats stuck/misadjusted
- needle seat bad

Hopefully someone can tell you what exactly to try. Good luck.

it sounds like something might have come loose i know this sounds stupid and i am not exatly sure on how your carb is set up but in general on carberaturos thier is at least on ebolt holding on the fuel line mounts where you put on the fuel line make sure that those are tight and that they are all in (wich i hope they are because you didnt say that you really did anything to it to make it do this) also check and make sure that your fuel line mount is not clogged or backed up becaus e of a obstructing obstical.

all of the fuel line seems to be fine the whole way, the fuel is coming out of the carburator. i guess it couldnt hurt to take it apart and put it back together

Either the pressure is too high, the floats are stuck, or the needle seat is stuck. I know on my Mikuni, when I was first setting fuel pressure with a new pump and fpr, at 12 psi, fuel ran out of the velocity stacks.

I'd say it's time to take it apart. clean and check the float setting, (which should not change on it's own, unless the the floats have sprung a leak and filled with fuel), and check the needle and seat. If the have them, not that familiar with the Dells.
