red is most likely racing beat. iirc the rb sway bar is 1 1/8" You'll be very happy with it, I know I am. Be sure to get the bushings for it as they are different than stock.

Hmmm, well I've got a ST swaybar sitting in my garage right now and it's red. The bar is used so it could have been repainted, but it doesn't look like it.

Koni's are red, as well as RB. Both are about similar quality and fit.

If you're going to install that thing yourself, be advised that you'll benefit from an air-grinder to 'wallow-out' your front tension rod mounts to allow the bar to fit through - the flattened ends will be just a tad too wide to get through there. Oh, and you'll need to remove at least one of the tension rod mounting blocks, which are held in by 4x17mm bolts. Kind of a pain, but the end result is well worth the effort.

That heavy front bar would likely also benefit from a good rear bar, but there are some here who think Mazda go this all wrong (putting one on the rear stock, anyway...). YMMV,

I'm with Long Duck, a grinder will be a good friend in the install. I took both tension rod brackets out to do mine, in hindsight you can just take one out, but I think it will be less fustrating to take both out. I agree with using an adjustable rear bar as well, it will help now and as you change the cars atrubuts you can adjust it handling with the rear bar. This is great for V8 swaps, as you can "dail out" the inhernt understeer.

There is a thred somewhere that a few peolpe (including myself) detail there installs with different sway bars.

dunno about the Koni bar, but the RB bar transforms your car. The difference in handling is night & day
