I think it will put you in a different class for some track events. Paticularly autocross.

hey jose.
out of curriosity (not really part of this thread but...) where did you get your intake kit, and what size is it??
i have been looking for one, but have only found 14in ones which i think is to big.

That is the Mariah Low Profile K&N Filter Charger Kit necessary when installing their NACA Fiberglass Hood. I think it was around 130.00 plus or minus. You can check with them....at

I don't have the exact k&N numbers but email me privetely at JoseReyes@msn.com and remaind me and I'll look it up on the box at home....

But mariah motorsports sells the complete kit.....That was my first upgrade waiting for my hood.....
