Can you put -SE rotors and calipers on the 84-85 big bearing 12a spindles?
Are there any negative issues with the large spindles?
The reason I ask is I am ordering the TTT front coil overs and they can provide either size. I have 2 Rx-7s, one with -SE suspension. If I could get the bigger size and be able to use the coil overs on either car would obviously give me the greatest options.

All of the first gen spindles are to damn small but the 84-85 spindles seem to be stronger and are desirable for racing.
Before you spend a bunch of money on a set of spindles (big tubes, coil over conversion, etc) have them magnafluxed to check for cracks. Also, in racing applications it is a good idea to check the included angle when doing an alignment. I believe the measurement is 12 degrees and if this changes or your camber adjustments start changing when nothing has been adjusted; the spindle(s) are suspect. They do fail in racing - seen it myself.
By the way, the FC spindles are chunkier with a larger inner wheel bearing. However, FC outer wheel bearing are the same as the ones used on an 84-85 FB.
