Front E shaft seal

The little black seal that goes into the front cover..

I went out to do some work on the project and seems I have f%$ked up today, so I guess I better stop. Man Im getting worse and worse at this as I get older...

Well I got the old seal out no problem, when to push the new seal in place using the old one, well it seems I drove it in a little too far, MAYBE..

Anyone know if the seal being pushed a little past the front cover lip is gonna be bad ? I drove it in maybe a little less than 1/2 the width of the seal... I suck at measurments so lets say maybe a little tiny bit more than 1/8" . Anyone see a problem with that, looks like it would still seal the E shaft pulley OK?

Yeah I figured as long as I didnt drive it completely through it would be OK. Its just I did the back one and I was like humm cool flange will stop it, and wasnt thinking on the front one it would go all the way through if you let it, but I looked at it and was like **** im getting too old for this **** anymore ... Thanx
