front cover swap?why?

alright i have been reading peoples post about threre 13BT swap and they are changing the front cover why is that? isnt the motor when you get suppose to have the whole front of it? like i know you can buy the 12A to 13B front bracket so it fit but why dont ppl do that instead of swaping the frot covers?

The TII engine mounts are on the side, whereas the first gen mounts are in front and through the first gen front cover.

Do a search you will see the difference.
