front brakes on a serie one

Is there one on this forum that could help me oppgrading the front brakes.The car i am running are a serie 1 1978 I have just instald a 13 b twinturbo engine and my brakes run wery hot.I am using a volvo 240 rear end and 10inch vented disc at the rear.Is i possible to fit 2gen aliminium 4pots calipers to the front?
Please help........

I don't know the full details, but there is apparently a kit in Australia to bolt 4-pot calipers on the front. Might be worth looking into, although the location is seemingly the exact opposite side of the planet

It can be done. We had the S4 RX-7 calipers set up for our car, with Starion Turbo (same size as S4 discs but different offset) discs. If we didn't have the Simmons wheels and the off set they were made too, we could have used S4 discs. Quite a simple upgrade realy.

In my car i have now fitted 7*17mas saggita et16mm
from a peugot405 at the front and 8*17 et13 at the rear
The problem isent the space but my maskining skills

Wouldnt happen to have some pics of that twin turbo 13b install. Im in the same boat or will be soon...

Well main thing I wanna know is, do the stock twins clear the idler arm on a left hand drive car?

I dont now i bough a shortblock from japan an running a garret to4-60 whit custom ekshausmanifoil.

xtremeperformance.org makes a kit for older RX-4's that will swap over to your car. It will retain the origional 4x110 bolt pattern and give larger rotors and 4 pot calipers. You will need to get wheels larger than 13" to clear the calipers. Talk to Jim and he can tell you all the details.
