Posting here rather than in marketplace as would like this to go to someone who is a regular here, or is short of cash and needs this. Also slightly complicated…

Free starter. Purchased from Atkins earlier this year. See pics for part number. Atkins say this works for an FB but every third or fourth start the bendix teeth would bounce off the flywheel teeth and grind, rather than engaging. Also has 11 teeth, which is a different count to the one I took off. Asked Atkins about both issues, and they said it’s the right starter. Don’t feel like fighting them, so not returning it, plus I’ve had it a couple of months and forgot to deal with it.

If you can use this, and are OK with the weirdness of its history, you can have it no charge. Just cover shipping.
