Question 1985 part name/number question

Howdy Y'all,

I need a new one of these. I've been looking for a couple of weeks and have had no luck even finding what the factory called it. Does anyone know what part name/number I should be looking for?

Many thanks for whatever help anyone can provide.

Doc

The part number is FA55-55-231D is called "Storage Box". Very unlikely you will be able to find one new.

I even have a 3-d printer which I've never used.

I just saw someone selling these on Facebook Marketplace in the Mazda RX7 Parts for Sale/Trade section. They are in Australia

I have a bunch of the smaller ones. I think they only fit the 1981-1983. I sell them for $35 + shipping.

Thank you both. Mine takes the double DIN-sized one. I'll check eBay in Oz.
