Nice seats!

The rest is also very clean,a very nice example of a pampered, original 1st gen.......

I just cant get over my minor dislike of the SA.The bumpers, the shifter, the tailights....just doesnt look right.

I'd be surprised if the paint is original and why is it out in the rain anyway ? Nice looking car tho. The seats or the seat covers are not original. The SAs didn't come with red stripes at the seat panel joints. Other than that the interior is very good. Also, its been slathered with armorall on the interior, notice how shiny it is. I'd say they did a really good detailing it. Not sure its worth 5k, but someone might pay it.

I wouldn't pay 5k for any 1st gen, unless it had a 20b under the hood. Nice car though

HAHA. Its says it's a "Grand Sport". I thought that all those were extinct by now. You know. The 5 grand 1rst gens. Man, haven't seen one of those in a while. Nice, though.

If anyone in the Portland, Oregon area is looking for a similarly clean 1979 RX-7 (1978 production), let me know. Someone brought it in for service, having been parked outside under a tree for two years and smoking like a pig. They didn't want to spend the money to replace the engine, so we bought it off them. To our amazement, after a quick wash, the paint underneath proved very, very nice...just needs a good buffing. The interior was nice too, other than the driver's seat. We are rebuilding the original engine and probably getting both seats reupholstered, then give the car a buffing and detailing. Should turn out awesome. Red exterior, black interior (like the one in the pics above). All stock. If anyone is interested, call the shop and talk to Rob. 503-233-3878.
