fmoc oil lines

i cant seem to find any high pressure line for my gen2 oil cooler, i tried using 1/2 inch fuel line, but obviousely it isnt rated for the heat, and i ended up with a trail of oil leading to my house.... shittt . sooo i was just wondering if any of you have installed a 2nd gen cooler this way, with different hose, i wanted to get some steel braided stuff, but i dont know where to find it, tried lordco, i was also thinking about using hydraulic lines, cutting them and hose clamping them to the half inch fittings i have, but dont know if it will work, any help please

crappp i was looking at those on ebay too, oh well,
i could probably get adaptors, but id rather stick with finding some braided stuff, and just cutting it to my own specs just cant find a store, to buy it,

Not 100 percent sure but I thought that was what the adapters were for, and the lines are only different in length for first and second gens. Notice mine come with adapters, and I think that is were the difference would be. But I just don't know. Plus those are braided, check them out on the Racing Beat website for a better pic.

Go to a Hydrolic shop, They can take your fittings and make a set of lines for you.

Yea,Ive been making mine for years. All you need is some 1/2 ID meduim hydraulic hose.I use Dayco hose in bulk. Its called "B" hose at the local hydro shop.No steelbraid or anything fancy, just rubber hose with internal nylon cord.Rated for 300psi working pressure and about 500 degrees operating temp, both WELL above what its going to see on a rotary.
Just carfully cut the stock crimps off the ends of your old 2nd gen hoses with a grinder. The end fittings are just regular barbs underneath that you can push your new hose over and clamp with some quality hose clamps.I double up the clamps on both ends and have never had any problems in almost 10 years and I run nearly 100psi of oil pressure.Having removable clamps greatly simplifies removing the cooler or rerouting the hoses should the need arise.Total cost, about 10 bucks....
